Art is best viewed up close, so that eyes may identify the individual brushstrokes, pixels, or pieces of macaroni that contribute to its haunting aesthetic effect. Feed artistic cravings with today's Groupon: for $62, you get the Arts District Package, a segway ride with an art workshop and various art demonstrations in the unique Arts District neighborhood of Oak Park from Oak Park Segway Experience (a $120 value). This tour is only available on Wednesdays at 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m. Tours meet outside the Eastgate Café at the corner of Harrison and Lyman.

Riders unearth the crafty corners of Oak Park during the Arts District Package, a segway-powered tour and activity-laden adventure through the namesake's colorful neighborhood. Your 90-minute experience begins with a quick lesson on captaining a segway before riders embark on a cruise of a nine-block span of Harrison Street, gliding westward from Austin Boulevard and absorbing the myriad galleries, boutiques, restaurants, and sidewalk pheromones that comprise this artsy area.

After gleaning artistic inspiration from neighborhood haunts, riders attend a 20-minute art workshop, where they design and craft a piece of artwork to take home, and a 10-minute textile demonstration, where a local artist weaves together a brief lesson on how to pattern a textile-based art piece from fabrics, yarns, and fibers. Riders also peer through interactive gallery exhibits at Prodigy Glassworks, a studio that stages daily demonstrations of glass blowing, and receive a gift bag. Because each tour accommodates only four people, riders can easily engage with their tour guide and finally possess the necessary fluidity to recreate favorite Jackson 5 dance routines.
