Obed Mediterranean Cuisine
Obed, a Sunnyvale eatery that opened in June, serves up generous portions of Mediterranean cuisine. In fact, plates are piled so high with tender kabobs, fresh salads, and creamy hummus that families can share and groups of hungry poker players can use the food as chips. The cooks also dish out Persian specialties such as zereshk polo, a rice dish made with vibrantly hued barberries. All of the feasting takes place in a pleasant and inviting space, which one Bay Area News Group blogger described as "a classic dinner-house setting."
