Q:

Will this be offered again? It sold out so quickly!

Lisa T.  asked on  May 22, 2013

A:

Thanks for your interest! Unfortunately, I am unable to release any information regarding when they may be featured again. However, since we offer new deals every day, there's a chance you'll see something else you like soon!

Q:

Great deal, but do you also need to purchase zoo admission? Also, looks like an adult needs to attend as an Observer ($25)? Is that correct? All that plus $12 parking fee.

Bonnie K.  asked on  May 22, 2013

A:

Anyone who is not part of the observer program will need to purchase zoo admission. An adult is not required to attend the program, however it gives you the opportunity to shadow the entire length of the program and take as many still photographs as you would like. Parking is a separate zoo fee.

Q:

Asked a question...no response and now sold out. NOT happy.

Rebecca Q.  asked on  May 22, 2013

A:

I would like to personally apologize that we were unable to answer your question sooner. We are doing everything we can to field any and all questions in a timely manner. Due to the popularity of this program, it does sell out quickly. You can always check back on our website throughout the summer to see if other specials will be running. We never know when we will be running the next special. You still have the opportunity to purchase the program full price, for $100 at http://www.oceansoffun.org/rs/programs/view/4. Even at full price, this program is a great deal and one of a kind in the midwest. The kids get an up close and personal experience with some of our seals or sea lions as well as learning all about marine mammals, our training and they get to help prepare a meal for the animal they will be working with. Again, I am sorry for not answering your questions sooner, but I hope you will consider still looking into the program. Thank you for your understanding.

Q:

There is not a place to enter a Groupon code on the website's checkout. How do we make sure the Groupon is applied - do we just bring it with us for a discount when we show up at the program? Thanks.

Paula W.  asked on  May 22, 2013

A:

There should be a box at the drop of the payment screen that says Groupon, living Social or gift card number. Please call our office if you have any further questions at 414-453-5527.

Q:

If I can convince a few friends to buy this for their kids, can we schedule it so they all have a class together? And can one parent bring all four kids, or does the "limit one per visit" thing prohibit that?

Cori K.  asked on  May 22, 2013

A:

You may all sign up for the same date, however, we cannot guarantee that there will be enough spots on any particular date. You may check availability for programs at www.oceansoffun.org. The "limit one per visit" refers to only one voucher per child may be used. One adult may drop off several children as long as the guardians have filled out the pick up and drop off form that will appear in your account after you have signed up for the program on our website.

Q:

Do the parents accompany the children on the tour? Does this include all entry fees? Can a 4 year old sibling be present? Thanks so much!

Cindy T.  asked on  May 22, 2013

A:

Parents are welcome to take part in the observer program during the Sea Lion splash. It costs $25 per observer. This fee allows you to shadow the entire length of the program and take as many still photographs as you would like. The 4-year old sibling may also be an observer.

Q:

Is the limit 1 per visit restricted to families or people? I'd like to buy these for my nieces in the same family for them to attend together. Thanks.

Rebecca Q.  asked on  May 22, 2013

A:

They are more than welcome to attend together. The limit 1 refers to people; you may only use one voucher per participant.

Q:

If we are going for the class, do we pay an admission to the zoo? Also, are parents aloud to take pictures during? Thanks.

Heather R.  asked on  May 22, 2013

A:

You do pay parking for the zoo. Any adult who is not taking part in the observer program does pay zoo admission. You will be provided a voucher with your program for anyone taking part. The observer program allows you to shadow the entire length of the program and take as many still photographs as you would like.

Q:

Does "limit one per visit" mean I can't take my two grandchildren at the same time?

Kathryn W.  asked on  May 22, 2013

A:

You may take your two grandchildren at the same time. It just means that you can not use two vouchers for the same child.
