What You'll Get
Golf is a game of precision and finesse, just as ultimate fighting is a game of brute strength and missing teeth. Keep mouths intact with today’s Groupon: for $40, you get two rounds of golf at The Odyssey Country Club in Tinley Park (up to an $80 value).
The Odyssey Country Club draws in ambitious golfers with a par 72 course boasting 18 challenging holes, verdant surroundings, and a rare island green. The course, which spans more than 7,000 yards of bent-grass fairways, was designed by two-time U.S. Open winner Curtis Strange along with course architect Harry Bowers. The course’s front and back nine holes accommodate players of all skill levels, though tricky breezes at strategic points may cause even teetotaling balls to waver while attempting to traverse straight lines. Four sets of tees and manicured greens ensure that clubs, balls, and feet coexist with minimal friction and tumbleweed interference.
The Odyssey Country Club’s 48,000-square-foot clubhouse hosts a restaurant and lounge for post-swing reinforcements. After mastering the course, fore shouters can visit the on-site pro shop or switch superhero disguises in the men’s and ladies’ locker rooms.
The Odyssey Country Club’s rates fluctuate throughout the week.
