Oilers Ice Center
The newly renovated Oilers Ice Center provides visitors with a regulation-size indoor rink designed for ice hockey, figure skating, curling, and public skating sessions. Four curling rings sit beneath the frozen carpet, which is kept smooth with frequent passes of a zamboni blasting classic R & B hits from its stereo. The venue doubles as the official practice space for Oklahoma’s Central Hockey League team, the Tulsa Oilers, and offers adult hockey leagues throughout the year. Busy families of dexterous ice veterans can take advantage of the center’s flexible hours, and adventurous couples can spend Friday nights using their skates to trace the shape of hearts or prenuptial-agreement fine print into the ice.

“We had a nice time Our family was the only ones there for the first 30+ minutes of the "public skate" A woman, by herself, came in to skate and that changed the experience from fun to "just ok" She obviously knew how to skate, she wore an outfit that had "Gold Medalist" embroidered on the back She turned off the radio station that was playing and put on her classical music cd for her to skate to She then continuously started to skate "closely" past my children aged 11&7 We only stayed about an hour and a half instead of the full 2 hours because of the rudeness of this woman We originally thought that she may be a coach or trainer that was trying to get business If so, she does not try very hard, and may keep us from returning”
