Reviews
Other locations have yet to receive many online reviews, but three Yelpers give the Johnston Okoboji Grill location an average of 3.5 stars:
- Step above a sports bar. – David S.
- Tried it on a sunday night with our 2 little girls, had a great experience. Kids ate free. It wasn't packed, so that helped, seated right away, wait staff was quick, attentive but not overbearing. Manager stopped by table to just say hi, and make sure everything was OK. Food was excellent, quality, quantity, presentation. Place was clean and quiet. Certainly will go back. – Dustin

About Okoboji Grill
Inspired by trips to the state's northwestern lakes, Okoboji Grill conjures the wayfaring spirit of summer vacation with hearty American comfort food. Chefs marinate chicken strips in beer before hand-breading them in a secret blend of spices, crown crispy onion strings with Iowa-raised pork chops, and stack thin-sliced meats into towering club sandwiches and edible replicas of the Chrysler Building. Okoboji Grill also culls recipes from international cuisines, adding an American take to greek gyros, housemade tzatziki sauce, and italian bruschetta and pastas.
