Chef Caterina teaches students the basics of Italian cooking in creating an appetizer, entree, and dessert. In this hands-on cooking series, students learn to prepare things like bruschetta, spaghetti alle vongole—spaghetti with clams—risotto al funghi, and tiramisu. It was a fun tour. The food was good and the history was interesting. The guide was knowledgeable, friendly and funny. There were enough food that we didn't need to eat lunch afterward.
