Q:

I'm vegetarian, would there be vegetarian food options at the spots that offer a meat option? For example, I saw that one of the stops might be for a burger. Also, could I buy 4 vouchers (all for gifts) and then we all redeem them for the same outing?

Akta P.  asked on  Nov 8, 2011

A:

Yes, we can accomodate vegitarian requests as long as we know at the time of the booking. That way we'll be able to make the arrangements ahead of time for you. Also, if you purchase 4 vouchers, you can redeem them all for one outing. Going with a group of friends is what makes this tour so fun!

Q:

The Fine Print says "limit 4 per person" & "limit 1 per visit." Obviously, one person is not going to use more than one at a time so does this mean that if I buy 2 for myself & my husband that we cannot use them both at the same time? Do I have to buy one & then buy the second one as a gift in order to use them both at the same time & go together? I have always wondered about this when I see this wording?

Diane G.  asked on  Nov 8, 2011

A:

That part of redeeming the GroupOn may be better clarified by a Groupon Representatvie. On our end, if we see that your Groupon purchase includes 4, and you've only redeemed two, then we can always book the other two at a later time. But if you're giving two tickts our as gifts, then I'd recommend makeing two separate purchases, as that will make things cleaner. The limit of 4 per purchase is for times when people want to come as two couples, or as family, etc. Hope that helps.

Q:

I was wondering if you could explain a bit the difference in the three tours. Also if you know what food places you go to on the three tours. Also is the christmas tour the only one you offer on weekdays or do the other two tours have weekday tours? I didn't see any on the calendar. Thanks.

Cara L.  asked on  Nov 8, 2011

A:

The Orange Sampler Tour is focused on the Downtown area, historic Chapman and Glassell Streets. We visit Watsons Drug and Diner, Felix, Citurs city Grille, to name a few. The Farmer's Market Food and Culture Tour, starts in the histroic train depot in Orange, at the Ruby's Streamliner Restuarant, visits the new Farmer's Market, the Chapman Film School, then goes downtown to several restuarants there, and concludes back at the Depot. The Christmas Tour is downtown, but includes more shopping opportunities at the unique stores, and because of the holidiays, we offer weekday tours. We will offer weekday tours again during holiday periods, and also do customer weekday tours for groups of 10 or more. Hope that answers your questions - you may also go to our website FAQ pages for more info. Thanks!

Q:

Hi there, I looked on your site about wheechair access and it said it was ok but that for strollers you would have to take your child out and have them walk for some of it. I take care of an elderly lady that would love to take this tour but she is in a wheelchair and will not be able to get out and walk. Would I still be able to book the tour for us? We have been to downtown orange and know that some of the antique stores are not wheelchair friendly which is fine but wouldn't want to miss out on any of the food tastings. I was looking at the christmas tour. Thanks.

Cara L.  asked on  Nov 8, 2011

A:

We have had people in wheelchairs come on the tour and generally without problems. The restuarants are all wheelchair accessible, and there is no discernable difference in the experience. The shops may pose a bit of a challenge for wheelchairs, but if the person can walk a little into the shops, they can enjoy them and then resume the tour in thier wheelchair. The Christmas Tour will include shopping and includes more shops than our regular tours, however it is primarily a food tour experience, so your friend would be able to enjoy it. We offer weekday tours during the holiday seasons and during summertime, however, we have done custom tours during the weekdays for groups of 10 or more, and are always happy to accomodate when we can. Hope that helps!

Q:

The Groupon seems to be general while the Old Towne Orange Walking Food Tours lets you make a reservation for a specific date and time, but you must purchase the ticket when you make the reservation. How do I apply my groupon to the advance purchase of a ticket for a specific tour? When I receive my Groupon, would I receive a promo code that I can use on their website?

Thomas J.  asked on  Nov 8, 2011

A:

Yes, you will receive a promo code to use when you go to the Old Towne Otrange Walking Food Tours website. Go to the Groupon tab on the website and enter the information requested. Once we receive your request and tour date preferences, we will confirm the booking with you by email. You may choose from different tours, and different dates by viewing the Calendar of Events.

Q:

Is the Groupon for the Orange food tour good for 2 people to use at a time? So $32.00 for 2 people?

Shauna N.  asked on  Nov 8, 2011

A:

Each Groupon is only valid for one person. If two people want to go you would need 2 Groupons.
