- For some, olive oil is olive oil and buying a bottle of Colavita is as far as one need travel. But if you like your oil to take you on a journey, then Olio Taibi is the producer for you. The Nocellara is characterized by a supple texture, citrus notes, and a hint of pepper, making it an ideal accompaniment for cheese, or to use in preparing a full-bodied dish. The Biancolilla is a softer, more earthy oil, though when consumed alone or with bread, it packs a peppery punch that can sneak up on you. – Brian Fichtner, Cool Hunting
- This oil altered my whole approach to preparing and enjoying food. Olio Taibi is so delicious that your dinner guests may sneak swigs from the bottle when your back is turned clearing dishes from the table (this happened to me). – Fish McGill, Amazon, Nocellara variety
- Have you ever thought you could get lost in a dip of extra virgin olive oil? Try the Taibi Biancolilla and feel the experience. – Monica Nicoli “Nicki”, Amazon, Biancolilla variety
- My husband and I were served Olio Taibi "Biancolilla" at a dinner party tonight with rustic bread and fresh tomatoes - in a word...Amazing. – GLyons, Amazon

About Olio Taibi
At the Taibi estate in Montaperto, Sicily—a hilltop village a few miles from the Mediterranean—Gino Taibi inspects the olive trees on his grandfather’s farm, ensuring that each plant’s olives are up to his standards. He and a crew harvest and cold-press the olives as soon as possible, before bottling the oil onsite at the family estate. The result is a superior olive oil with pleasant aromas and optimal balance, ideal for dipping bread, drizzling on fresh tomato, or complementing mozzarella salads, soups, or any Mediterranean recipe.
Included on olive oil loyalist Tom Muller's list of "Great Olive Oils of the World", Olio Taibi's two available elixirs come bottled in chartreuse glass, which looks impressive on a kitchen cabinet or placed in front of a projector playing episodes of Leave it to Beaver.
