What You'll Get
Dancing has grown and evolved over the centuries, as illustrated by the progression from the mechanical to the electric slide. Learn to mobilize the body to a range of rhythms with today's Groupon: for $40, you get two months of unlimited classes for you or you and a partner as a pair, plus one private class for yourself or the both of you, at Omaha Ballroom on 153rd Street (a $170 total value).
With two months of unlimited dance classes at their disposal, students openly choose from a variety of dance styles and classes: ballroom, Latin, swing, country-style dancing, Zumba fitness, and pilates. During each class, dancers move with the energy of being tased, but with the grace of being tased by an Olympic gymnast. Learn from one of Omaha Ballroom’s professional instructors and soak up the fun and fanciful instruction right on its 100-person dance floor with other pairs of foot-faring enthusiasts.
Once duos have gotten their fill of communal course work, they can entertain benevolent beats of choice during a private dance lesson. Here, an astute dancing professional channels Fred Astaire while partners navigate floors with music in their hearts and yesterday's formal dual with the neighbor far from their minds.

About Omaha Ballroom
Instructors at Omaha Ballroom lead drop-in group dance and private lessons inside a studio with a capacity of 100 people. Students partnered with spouses or doppelgangers glide through the steps of the waltz, fox trot, and tango during ballroom classes, or shake and strut to upbeat Latin tempos in salsa classes. Line-dancing and country-two-step classes equip individuals with the tools to impress at the next corporate hoedown, and swing lessons have dancers jitterbugging in either the East or West Coast style.
