What You'll Get
The Mediterranean Sea shaped some of the world's most ancient civilizations, who gathered by its shores to dive for the delicious gyros, spanakopita, and manicotti growing beneath its crystal waves. Transport to this legendary culinary coast with today's deal: for $10, you get $20 worth of brick-oven pizza and authentic Greek and Italian fare at Opa! Pizza and Greek & Italian Cuisine. This Groupon cannot be used toward alcohol purchases.
Opa!'s menu encourages mouth fanfares with its devastatingly handsome assemblage of Greek mezes and dishes, Italian pastas, and brick-oven-baked pizzas. Try the brandy-licked flaming saganaki (Greek kasseri cheese, $8.95) or a flagon of beef or cheese ravioli, crowned with marinara, fresh garlic, and mozzarella ($9.95). Marinated souvlaki chicken and lamb skewers appear floating on a cloud of rice with Greek salad ($15.95), and from-scratch pizzas provide discful delight in 12-inch, 14-inch, and 16-inch sizes. The chicken à la pesto features a thick, soft, light crust, decorated with creamy house-made pesto ($16.95 / $20.95 / $23.95), and the Romana unites capicola with prosciutto for a flavorful foray into the world of boot-shaped cured meats ($17.95 / $21.95 / $24.95).
Offering a cozy interior adorned with charming tchotchkes and Old World trimmings, Opa! also just opened its breezy outdoor patio. Although closed Mondays, live entertainment on the weekends includes musicians and belly dancers, encouraging rousing revelry.
- This is easily my new favorite place to eat. I'm telling everyone that I can find about it. Great beer and wine selection, incredible food and service above and beyond the call of duty…Try the Meze for the appetizer, it's awesome. And the Chicken Santorini is probably the food that they will serve me if I go to Heaven when I die. – GY1680, TripAdvisor
- Spokane's little taste of Venoce and Santorini... Quaint, great eats and the saganaki put me right back in Rhodes. Great place! – Kris-Anna Mack, Urbanspoon
- My favorite treat in town. – Doug Osgood, Urbanspoon
