This was not for our group. We like scavenger hunts where you learn something about the area you are hunting in. This was very generic...find a bicycle...perform the Hokie Pokie in front of a fire hydrant. You still had to hunt for your item...but it was just generic items. Some people however may find this type of scavenger hunt fun. You still had to hunt for things, so that part was fun. But it was too generic for our taste.

Our hope was the clues would lead us to fun or historical sites in the city. Definitely not the case. I don’t recommend this.

I’d give it 0 stars if I could. The prompts are not city-specific, you can finish everything and learn nothing about the city…

Generic and boring. The scavenger hunts where you're looking for specific landmarks in a city are much more interesting.

It’s to general, you want a fun way to see the place you are visiting. Disappoint

About Operation City Quest

Operation City Quest sends players on real-life scavenger hunts. The goal is to find a variety of objects in your city, each differing in points and difficulty, and document the process along the way. The entire game is played via smartphone, on an app that will provide your list of items to find. As you check off the items on your list—and send in photos to earn points—you can answer fun trivia questions or perform silly street challenges to score more and move up the leaderboard. But no matter the number of points you get, the most important objective is to have fun.
