It doesn’t matter if you’re new to the fitness space, or a fitness buff. Zac will tailor the sessions to your fitness goals. If you’re on the fence - don’t be. I highly recommend these sessions. This is a great investment in YOU.
Zac is a great personal trainer. He spent time getting to know my goals and assessing my strengths and limitations on the first complimentary session. Then, on the next session we got right into it with a very organized warm-up and workout. He created a lot of trust through his confidence and helped me progress easier than I expected.
I had a great experience working with Zac! I bought the 4-session Groupon deal, but it would definitely be worth full price to train with him. I really appreciated Zac's positive energy. He was encouraging throughout each session while pushing me to work hard and make progress. When I first showed up at the gym, I was a bit intimidated because I hardly ever go to the gym, and I was greeted by a cardboard cut out of The Rock and I saw some really buff dudes when I glanced in. However, Buff Dude seemed really nice, and there were other non-buff people training there too. Zac himself was very friendly and professional! I felt like he genuinely cared about my well-being and wanted to help me live a healthy life (so I don’t turn into a dumpling when I grow old or have pains related to sitting at a desk all day).
I appreciated how Zac explained the purpose of the exercises and stretches he gave me, and what muscles to focus on. He demonstrated how to stretch/exercise/use equipment with proper form, and he gave me cues to help me learn how to do them correctly myself. He provided take-home work out plans, and helped me increase the intensity of my workouts each week.
I feel like I learned a lot from Zac and made a lot of progress, even in just a few weeks. There were some exercises that I had never done before, but had seen others do, and I was excited to learn to do them properly myself. There were also some exercises that I had done on my own before, but I learned from Zac how to do them correctly and more efficiently.
