Q:

Is the solution you use Asclera, the less painful one?

Samantha G.  asked on  Sep 9, 2012

A:

We use STS which is FDA approved and the gold standard for the treatment of spider/ reticular veins. There is minimal if any pain with injection and the rate of allergic reactions is very small compared to asclera.

Q:

What determines the length of a session and if more than one area of the legs (e.g. ankle and behind the knee) requires treatment can more than one area be treated in the same session?

Carol B.  asked on  Sep 7, 2012

A:

yes it can. the treatment length is dictated by the severity and number of your veins. the smaller the veins the lesser amount spent . we just treated a patient today with same problem : we were able to cover both thighs and lower legs.

Q:

Hi, Is there any exception that I need to know? If my veins are so intensive either way you accept the treatment?

Ruki  asked on  Sep 5, 2012

A:

The treatment works on all veins less those that are really bulging( varicous ) and painful. In this case you should have an ultrasound before procedure to rule out clots.

Q:

Because think about laser hair treatment, based on the area how much touch/time doctor will spent, it will effect price. I was wondering if same thing happens this treatment too?

Ruki  asked on  Sep 5, 2012

A:

I don't understand the questions. The treatment and consultation time should not exceed 45 min.

Q:

Hi, I have 2 questions : 1- can I have sclero while breastfeeding 2- If I buy multiple treatments, does the last one must be redeemed before the expiration date of the groupon or only the first 1 should be redeemed before ? Thanks

melanie c.  asked on  Sep 5, 2012

A:

Its better to avoid. If you must have it you should stop breastfeeding for 3 days after. you may pump and save your milk before the procedure as an option. If for health reasons we can extend the expiration date beyond the listed date on the voucher.
