Q:

Pretty sure I know the answer to this but I'm hopeful :) ........Can I buy a half and a full syringe? I know from the past that one will not do the trick for me.

Hi I believe you can, I am not sure how that works but there are two options so one would think you could get one of each..But it is just one per person so that would be one of each. Hope I have helped....: )

Q:

I have used Botox in the past for between my eye brows with little effect. I have been told that a filler would work best for between my eyes. Is Restylane used for this and would one treatment be enough?

Rebecca M.  asked on  Feb 16, 2013

A:

Hi, Filler & Botox is usually best for continued results. Filler has to be done every six to eight months typically to keep things smooth and filled out. 1/2 syringe should be ample. If you would like to come in for a consult that would be great. Thanks and hope this helps to address your question.

Q:

Hello, I am wanting to get my lips done again. I had them done two years ago and it lasted well over a year for me. Would half a syringe be enough to do just my lips? Last time a purchsed a full syringe and used some of it in my smile lines and some in my lips so I am not too sure exactly how much was usedfor each.

Jennifer A.  asked on  Feb 15, 2013

A:

Hi Jennifer, If it lasted over a year for you that's pretty amazing, the duration on average is 6-8 months so you were fortunate. I am not sure what level of volume you are wanting to see and what your lips are like currently volume wise so it's hard to say but if they had some left over last time it sounds like that would work this time just guessing with out seeing you face to face. I am going to let you make that judgement call based on what you have told me, however I can tell you that typically 1/2 is what I start with for lip augumentations. Hope this helps answer your question. Thanks for you interest.

Q:

I assume the full syring comes with numbing cream also, but it doesn't state that, so does it? I had Artefill a year ago and now have a lumpy look over my lips. How long does this last? What is the least painful area? Will there be brusing? Can it be used to fill the jowls for a more square look?

Darla B.  asked on  Feb 14, 2013

A:

Hi yes it does come with numbing that is usually the case. Restylane last 6 to 8 months depending on how your body metabolizes it we are all different in the process. Least painful area, is probably based on an individuals perspective but my opinion nasalabial folds. Could be bruising lots of factors to consider, meds, lifestyle, drinking, ect... There are other options to build the jaw line I prefer. Thanks for your inquiry...

Q:

What is the difference between Botox, Dermal Fillers and Restylane. I am an african american woman looking into this for the first time - I want to lessen the appearance of my laugh lines - which one would work best for me

Yvonne S.  asked on  Feb 12, 2013

A:

Hi Botox temporarily relaxes the muscles in the forehead or crow's feet area, fillers add volume where we loose it as we age. It is hard to say which one would be most beneficial as I have not seen you or your level of correction but fillers do add volume so you cant go wrong with Restylane or product such as juvederm. Thank you for interest I did answer this question a few days ago on the mobile app but it appears you did not receive it. Hope this helps.

Q:

I had heard that Restylane could be use to increase fullness in the apple part of the cheek to enhance cheekbones and tighten skin on face. Can that be done?

Jodie G.  asked on  Feb 13, 2013

A:

Hi Jodie, Yes it can be but you would want to come in for a consultation so we could look at your face and see what would benefit you. I would be happy to take a look. Thank you for your interest.
