Q:

My son has 2 very small tattoos on his face. On one side beside his eye, is a sml teardrop and beside the other eye is a 1 sq in cross. I would Love to purchase this deal, but he seems to think that it will take more than 3 treatments to remove either. 1st question: I mentioned this groupon to his sister and we were wondering if we could each buy this deal for him? That way, I can pay for one to get removed and she can purchase the other to get removed. 2nd question, what are the chances that he will need more than 3 treatments on such small tattoos? Btw, this is an awesome deal!

A:

There is a limit of 1 Groupon per person, so he could not receive or use 2 of them. I would suggest contacting Original Skin directly at (316) 636-9411 for more information about their treatments.

Q:

Will it make a difference if I have had 3 previous lazer treatments to remove a tattoo? Mine is 3x3 1/2 and is mostly a bright green which I have heard is a hard color to remove. Which pkg. will I need to purchase?

Lisa E.  asked on  Nov 29, 2012

A:

It will not make a difference that you previously had laser tattoo removal treatments. For your size tattoo, you should purchase the 4x4 option- the one for $135. Thank you.

Q:

What laser do you use? Are the removals done by technicians or doctors? Do you have a website or just the FB page? How long have you been doing removals?

Suzanne R.  asked on  Nov 28, 2012

A:

People have been hesitant in the past to have their tattoo removed because removal was usually done by skin abrasion or heat based photo thermal lasers -- both of which are very painful and had a high incidence of permanent scarring. As a de-pigmentation laser, it is also very effective in removing age spots and brown spots resulting from sun damage. A one step solution that does away with cover up cosmetics and fade creams. Original Skin is introducing to south Central Kansas a new generation photo acoustical laser which offers fast, safe and comfortable tattoo removal of tattoos, age spot and brown spots resulting from sun exposure. The MedLite 6, Q-Switch Acoustical laser is the gold standard for tattoo removal, and is designed specially for de-pigmentation. Typical lasers use photothermal heat to target and “melt” colorations in the skin, both in the epidermis and dermis increasing the possibility of discomfort and scarring. The Original skin acoustical laser generates high energy “shockwaves” in 4 distinct wavelengths to target and shatter specific color molecules of pigment, at and below the skin’s surface, without any harm to the surrounding skin. Fragmented ink particles are gradually removed by the body’s natural process. This results in minimal risk of scaring or skin pigment changes for all skin types. A certified laser technician performs the laser tattoo removal and was supervised by a physician. She has had 2+ years of experience.

Can you provide your website I want to read more about the type of lasers etc. The link provided for "company website" in the Groupon is not working for me.
