The Orlean Market is getting a makeover, and it's about time. Established in 1870, the small deli and green grocer served as a cornerstone of the community for nearly 150 years. Now under new management, the owners have revamped the joint for the millennium, adding a quaint bar and restaurant that hosts live music. They've updated the menu to include gourmet burgers, pizza, craft beer, and local wine, and have installed flat-screen TVs to accommodate sports fans.
But not everything old has been abandoned. Inspired by its past function as a gas station, the owners revived the gas pumps, which is lucky for motorists, as the next gas station is 5 miles away.
