At Ottawa Fitness Boot Camp-Soldiers of Fitness, 60-minute routines mandate that students work together to conquer drills, bolstering a communal spirit through navigating obstacle courses and banding together to transport heavy objects such as a snoozing sumo wrestler. Using movements inspired by gymnastics and yoga, the program begins with a warmup, followed by instruction and exercises to improve joint mobility, strength, flexibility, and control of the body. Designed to minimize impact on joints and tendons, even those who are recovering from injuries or experience joint pain can reach their fitness goals.
