What lengths would you go to protect your child? Sharon Harris Warrick’s Mama Bear follows the story of hardworking mother Debra and her son Keith, who prefers to follow the ways of the streets rather than the words of his own mother. Just when Keith finds himself spiraling down the path of delinquency, Debra makes a desperate decision to save her child, which causes a dramatic ripple effect in the course of their lives. Directed by Paris Crayton III (Brothers of Affliction), Mama Bear makes its way to Marietta’s Out of Box Theatre at Artisan Resource Center and explores the lengths of a mother’s love.
