Q:

If I choose the snowboard package do I need to purchase a rental or is it included in the price?

Jorelys B.  asked on  Jan 26, 2013

A:

Hi Jorelys- The price includes transport to ski area, continental breakfast, ski lift ticket, brewery tour and tasting. You will have the option to rent gear which ranges from $26 to $36 (beginner package vs all-area package - the gear rental includes a free group lesson). A helmet rental is $10. Thanks, Jim

Q:

Hi - I am interested in the ski and brew tour. It's 119 on groupon but 97 on your website, why is that? Also, I can ONLY do March 3, how can I book before I pay to ensure i get this date? Thanks

Natasha M.  asked on  Jan 17, 2013

A:

Hi Natasha- The pricing you see on the website is our membership price. There is a yearly fee that you would have to pay to become a member. Our March 3rd has plenty of spots still available so you won't have any issue getting in. Thanks, Jim

Q:

Hi, I was just on your website and the early bird deal offers the exact same Groupon deal (for $89) at the $79 rate. The Groupon deal isn't much of a deal if it is more expensive then the early bird deal that you are offering? What's going on?

Anna P.  asked on  Jan 17, 2013

A:

Hi Anna- The pricing you are seeing on our website is our Membership pricing. In order to become a member there is a yearly membership fee that you would have to pay first. Thanks, Jim

Q:

Hello, I see the Groupon for snowshoeing is for Jan and Feb. What happens if there is not enough snow during this time for the trips to happen - is there a refund policy? Do you anticipate this being an issue? Thank you!

Emilie A.  asked on  Jan 15, 2013

A:

Hi Emilie- Good question. You never know what mother nature has planned. If there is not enough snow on a particular date then we will offer a hike and visit to 2 vineyards/tasting as an option, or a full credit toward a future trip. The hike and double vineyard/tasting is actually a more expensive trip so you are getting a better deal. A refund would have to go thru Groupon. Thanks.

I also have seen that for the ski and brew tour at camelbak the link is for 97 dollars but the early bird special is 84 and groupon has it listed at 119. Can you please explain the differences in the prices and what I would need to do to become a member? Thanks

David A.  asked on  Jan 15, 2013

A:

Hi David- For membership info and rates, please contact us directly. The "early bird" program has been discontinued and replaced with our membership program. Thanks

Q:

Hi, I am interested in the option "•$99 for a six-hour cross-country skiing trip in the Catskills, with a lift ticket, breakfast, lunch, and equipment rental (a $169 value)". when I click on the link provided which takes me to the vendor site, the same trip is listed for $89 over there. Just wanted to clarify if there is a mistake. if so please let me know what would be the groupon discount? is this trip for a first timer who has never skied before? are there any cheaper options available for beginners who want to experience it for fun (maybe something with a shorter duration - 2 hrs, etc) ? please let me know. Thanks !!

Krutti  asked on  Jan 13, 2013

A:

Hi- The price you saw is our Membership price which is for members only. Yes, this is perfect for first timers - most folks signing up will be doing this for the first time. We will be at the ski facility for approx 6 hours but you certainly don't need to ski the entire time and can take a break(s) in the lodge - most folks will take breaks and it will be up to you. Thanks
