About Outdoor Escapes New Hampshire
"Is there anything you have ever wanted to try?" With this simple question, the guides at Outdoor Escapes New Hampshire give people the chance to embark on a near-limitless variety of adventures. They forge custom plans for activities that range from hiking, to kayaking, to cross-country skiing in winter months. Knowing the dangers of exploring unprepared, the outdoor experts work closely with each group to design a trip that teaches the skills needed to safely double-dutch with a bear and walk across Mother Nature's natural playgrounds.
Each one a naturalist, Outdoor Escapes New Hampshire's team leads expeditions into nearly all of the state's sprawling wildlife preserves and managed forests. Amid the rugged terrain of areas such as the North Woods, the experts teach survival skills such as knot tying and cooking. They tell stories of the region and point out wildlife such as moose along a river's edge or bald eagles using a hang glider to soar through the sky.
