Q:

Please clarify. During one visit, could I use the $60 voucher toward more than one vessel to use with my family -- example 1 two person kayak and a 1 person kayak.

Sonya B.  asked on  Apr 4, 2013

A:

Yes, you can use the $60 credit toward multiple vessels in the same visit. If your rental bill exceeds $60, you'll just pay the difference after applying the Groupon.

Q:

Hello - I purchased a silver membership and was curious how it would work each time I wanted to go boating. Does Boating in Boston take down my membership information online and only require me to show identification each time or do I get a "silver membership card" and present that when I use it? Thank you, Jeff

Jeffrey K.  asked on  Apr 3, 2013

A:

Hi Jeff, thanks for reaching out to us! Yes we take your Groupon information on your first day of boating and from there give you a pass to return any time you'd like for the rest of the summer!

Q:

I am thinking bout buying 1 of the 29.99 for my son and I he is a paraplegic but has better upper body strength than most athletes. Would you alow this to be broken up into half hour intervals if he is abel to keep the kayak balanced or must they be for 1hour rentals. I am thinking this may be good therapy for him. Are kayaks that you stay on top of available at all locations.

CHESTER J.  asked on  Apr 2, 2013

A:

Please give the location of your choice a call. They will do their best to try to accommodate you.

Q:

I'm really interested in SUP as well as kayaking. I looked at the pages for your various locations and didn't see paddle boards listed under the items available to rent. Where do you have them? Please say Stoneham is on the list.

Catherine H.  asked on  Apr 2, 2013

A:

Hi Catherine! Thanks for reaching out to us. We have SUPs available for rent in Wakefield, Umass, and Hopkinton State Park!

Q:

I usually kayak with my son (now age 10), and my husband never comes with us. I was thinking of buying a Silver Membership for me, and buying a Youth Membership for him, but when I checked your site, I saw that the youth membership is for ages 16+. Is there any option for me to make my son a member without buying the more expensive family membership since it's usually just the two of us? Or do I have to buy the Silver membership and pay 1/2 price out of pocket for him every time we boat? He prefers his own kayak.

Kristen M.  asked on  Mar 29, 2013

A:

Hi Kristen! Thanks for reaching out to us. Yes, he is too young for his own membership. That is strictly for youths who can come with out parents, ages 16-17. What I think would be best for you is purchasing any one of our gold memberships, which most are currently 10 % off, and that way your son can come with you as your free guest each time and be in his own boat!
