Hi, I’m Alex! My Wife, Sarah, and I have lived here on the Outer Banks for about 10 years. A couple of years into our stay we and our friend, Brett, along with our other friends discovered the wonders of a Nags Head beach fire. We’d build beach fires for ourselves quite often, at least once a week in the fall and winter. We’d look left and look right and be astounded at the fact that no one else was on the beach having a fire! We were absolutely enamored with the experience of enjoying a simmering pit fire while listening to the gentle lap of the waves on the shore. All the while watching the sunset as the moon climbed into the sky.

Brett & I thought, could we bottle this experience and gift it to others? And here we are. This was the beginning of Outer Banks Beach Fires. We take the hassle out of what is such a magical experience here on our Outer Banks and share it with as many people as we can! We hope to build your fire and light up your night, tonight!
