What You'll Get
Before the invention of whiskey, the Irish were forced to sing songs about potatoes and lemonade. Dance a jig with today's Groupon: for $10, you get $20 worth of food and drinks at Paddy O'Quigley's.
Paddy O'Quigley's tantalizes taste buds of all types with their menu of hearty American pub grub and traditional Irish dishes as well as an overflowing selection of liquid libations from their fully stocked bar. Begin with an order of Spuds O'Quiglied—their fresh fried chips smothered in Rotel, cheese, bacon, olives, tomato, onions, chives and sour cream ($7.99) or an order of their tongue tingling chicken wings ($7.99/dozen). Tender beef is slowly cooked with onions, carrots, potatoes and Irish beer to form traditional Irish stew ($7.99) while their fresh battered fish n chips ($8.99) helps to solve epicurean inquiries from across the pond. Boasting signature martinis and cocktails, it is easy to convince an electric smurf or dirty quig to accompany burgers (starting at $5.99) or homemade tuna melts ($6.99) in their path to digestion. Their dessert specialty, Irish bread pudding—topped with pineapples and Irish whiskey and rum sauce ($5.99) provides the equipment necessary to successfully belt out O Danny Boy.
Lest one believe Paddy's is anything less than a sports-lovers paradise, flat-screen televisions adorn the walls, blasting scores from baseball to Quiddich and featuring Mizzou watching parties. Check the website for daily specials and the event calendar for live music, dancing and trivia nights.
