Family-run since opening in 1952, Tarpoon Lagoon Diving Center prepares divers for all sorts of aquatic adventures. That begins with the center’s various educational offerings. Beginning, intermediate, advanced, and specialty trainings range from open-water certification courses to classes in underwater videography. To ensure students are properly outfitted for classes, the marina-based center’s shop stocks a large inventory of swimwear, snorkels, masks, and spearfishing equipment. Upon class completion, divers and snorklers are invited aboard the center's boat for excursions to nearby shipwrecks and tropical underwater paradises.
