- $95 for three consecutive weekly two-hour Intuitive Watercolor courses (a $195 value)
During each two-hour course, students practice a variety of watercolor painting techniques, focusing more on self-expression and personal creativity than perfecting lines and color. The classes revolve around the idea that letting go of control, comparison, attachment, and judgment in order to draw inspiration and listen to their creative side is as paramount to an artist's personal success as perfecting any technique. Students can brandish colored pencils, sharpies, crayons, and chalks, as well as watercolor paints, to bring their vision to the canvas.
Paint Your Guts Out!
Paint Your Guts Out! facilitators believe there is no "right way" to express one's artistic side. They feel their job isn't to instill their students with rigid ideals of painting structure, but to inspire them to explore their creative talents with guidance and support. That's why each class focuses on helping students let go of mental hindrances that can impede their work. Through creativity coaching, students learn to power through the need to control, compare their works against others, and constantly judge, empowering them to express themselves freely through art.
