What You'll Get
Paintball is a lot like chess in that both require complex strategizing and both are almost impossible to win against autonomous robots. Lock and load a rookery's worth of pigment with today's deal: for $22, you get all-day admission and air supply, use of equipment and protective gear, and 500 paintballs at one of Paintball Central's three locations: Sedalia, Rock Hill, or Wellford. This Groupon is valid for public open play only.
Each of Paintball Central's locations arms your inner Jackson Pollock with a Tippman 98 paintball gun and multiple fields of bunkers, pillboxes, and forts to festoon with Abstract Expressionist spatters. The Wellford park includes the challenging Hamburger Hill, modeled after a battlefield in Vietnam, and all three locations feature acres of cover-heavy, undeveloped woods and treacherous mound fields. Less battle-centric playing fields include the Wellford and Sedalia parks' turf-covered Xball fields and Sedalia's speedball and pipes fields for strategic, team-based paintballery.
Paintball Central parks are open for public play each Saturday from 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m. The Sedalia and Rock Hill parks are also open on Wednesdays from 4:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m., and the Wellford park is open Thursdays 4:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m. Although paintballs from off-site sources are not allowed, additional paintballs are available for purchase at the park. Avoid wearing bright, thin clothing and shorts, dress shoes, cleats, and socks that wheeze.
Alcoholic beverages are not allowed within the park. Participants must be at least 10 years old, and a parental waiver is required for those under 18.

About Paintball Central
Silence fills the forest as a masked paintball player creeps over logs and leaves, unable to find the opposing team he knows is there. Suddenly, a shower of colored paint spews from behind a nearby tree, and the battle begins. Such moments unfold daily at PBC Paintball Park's facilities during the regular season. Their staff, all of whom are paintball players themselves, have designed both wooded and concept fields at Greensboro, Charlotte, and Greenville. At Greensboro, wooded landscapes transform into a battlefield with bunkers, creeks, and large forts. Felled trees and dense foliage give players ample cover amid the undeveloped woods of Greenville's fields, while castles, mounds, cities, and tournaments unfold across PBC Charlotte's level terrain. Additionally, PBC Paintball Parks are affiliated with Paintball Central, which runs two stores in North Carolina and one store in South Carolina where players can stock up on enough paintball gear to ready themselves for the inevitable cartoon-character rebellion.
