What You'll Get
If the Hundred Years' War had been fought with paintballs instead of rifles, it might still be happening, but it'd be so colorful that no one would mind. Experience your own vibrant battlefield with today's Groupon: for $30, you get a Top Gun package at Paintball USA in Santa Clarita (a $60 value).
Boasting 11 diverse battlegrounds, Paintball USA features plenty of trenches, dunes, and ravines for taking cover during pigment-powered fights. The Top Gun package is good for a full Saturday or Sunday of combat (9 a.m.–4 p.m.), and includes a JT Crossfire battle mask, a camouflage outfit with ammo pouch and gloves, a semiautomatic air gun, 200 paintballs, unlimited CO2 nitrous air fills, and a 17-hour PowerPoint presentation about color theory and how it relates to paintball. After liberally splattering foes, head to the shaded picnic areas to refuel or join noncombatants who came along to show their support with poster-sized collages of celebrity photos that vaguely resemble you.

About Paintball USA
Backed by a landscape of rolling green hills, paintballers navigate a maze of trenches, only peering above ground with their be-goggled eyes for a careful survey. With 14 battlefields to choose from, paintballing combatants test their mettle while fostering team-building and strategization skills. Players fire off rounds from 50 caliber semi automatic paintball gun while ducking behind rusted, paint-splattered oil drums, stacks of large tires, or the big yellow dump truck left behind by Godzilla's toddler. After a grueling match, players can take refuge in the shaded picnic areas to rest, refuel, or brush up on Sun Tzu's lesser-known text, The War of Art.
