What You'll Get
If the Hundred Years' War had been fought with paintball guns instead of rifles, it might still be happening, but it'd be so colorful that no one would mind. Experience your own vibrant battlefield with today's Groupon: for $20, you get either the Ninja Special package plus ammo pouch and safety vest for ages 10 through 17 or the Basic Training package plus ammo pouch and safety vest for ages 18 and up at Paintball USA in Santa Clarita (up to a $55 value).
Pigment-powered warriors take cover in the trenches, dunes, and ravines that pepper Paintball USA's 13 diverse battlegrounds. With the Ninja Special package (a $40 value) or Basic Training package (a $45 value), players can perform acts of guerrilla artistry for a full day (9 a.m.–4 p.m. on Saturday or Sunday). The battle plan provides players with a JT crossfire mask, a semiautomatic air gun, 200 paintballs, unlimited CO2, and a paint-by-numbers sketch to pin on opponents' chest protectors. An ammo pouch (a $5 value) hauls soldiers' tinted rounds, and a safety vest (a $5 value) ensures that the greatest danger players face is that of injured pride. After liberally splattering foes, players may retreat to the shaded picnic areas to rest, refuel, or brush up on Sun Tzu's lesser-known text, The War of Art.

About Paintball USA
Backed by a landscape of rolling green hills, paintballers navigate a maze of trenches, only peering above ground with their be-goggled eyes for a careful survey. With 14 battlefields to choose from, paintballing combatants test their mettle while fostering team-building and strategization skills. Players fire off rounds from 50 caliber semi automatic paintball gun while ducking behind rusted, paint-splattered oil drums, stacks of large tires, or the big yellow dump truck left behind by Godzilla's toddler. After a grueling match, players can take refuge in the shaded picnic areas to rest, refuel, or brush up on Sun Tzu's lesser-known text, The War of Art.
