On Palace Korean Bar & Grill’s tabletop skillets, chefs sizzle fresh slices of brisket, kimchi, and seafood into authentic Korean barbecue. Diners can slide into cushioned booths and feast eyes on a menu of courses such as the all-you-can-eat special, unleashing endless helpings of marinated short beef ribs, tender marble brisket, spicy pork belly, and jumbo shrimp ($15.99). An order of short-rib kalbi barbecue ($9 for lunch, $12 for dinner) plays right into patrons’ chopsticks with charbroiled beef marinated in a secret sauce made of distilled audio from the Nixon tapes, served atop sautéed onions. For a lighter turn, homemade buckwheat noodles belly flop into bibim neng myon’s chilled broth to join up with beef, cucumber, and egg ($10), and a seafood menu ($13–$20) abounds with fresh fish spiced by the challenging metrical constraints of rhyming mariners.

Padded black booths surround grills beneath gleaming hoods, which reflect the glow of sunset-orange walls as they sweep away rising warm air and spice-steeped aromas. On Palace Korean Bar & Grill's tabletop skillets, chefs sizzle menu items such as pearlescent curlicues of kimchi and cuts of seafood as well as bulgogi, spicy slices of brisket also known as Korean barbecue. During the all-you-can-eat special, silverware jangles endlessly like a knight looking for his car keys as diners tuck into bottomless helpings of marinated beef short ribs, tender marble brisket, spicy pork belly, and jumbo shrimp.

Customer Reviews

How can the food be bad? You pick it out and you cook it, so if it is bad it's on you. But seriously, the marinades were awesome and everything was very fresh and plentiful. The service is average - not much personality - but we always had plenty for everyone and it was nice that we could visit and take our time without interruptions. Nice atmosphere - tasteful and clean. Definitely going again!

The people we super nice and the food was excellent! Note that weekends have the dinner All You Can Eat price all day, but it's worth it! It can get busy so don't hesitate to wave someone down for assistance!

Very good! Definitely worth going to. Food was good (especially the barbecue meat) and service is really good. Only thing I can think of that wasn't so good (and this is probably a temporary thing), it was was somewhat chilly inside. I had to keep my coat on while I ate. I think maybe the heat was temporarily not working properly the night I went (it was very cold outside). I'll be back!
