Q:

Is this good for just these particular days of this one week, or do you have another week with the 3 day option as well?

Tara V.  asked on  May 1, 2013

A:

Right now this deal is just for these particular days. We might offer another selection of dates in the future. But we do offer 6 weeks of summer camp at the farm aside from this deal. You can find information on our regular summer camp program on our website PalermoShowStable.com under the "Summer Camp" tab.

Right now we are not running a groupon type deal on lessons, but we do offer both private and group lessons at the farm. If you haven any questions on pricing for our lessons please email me at school@palermoshowstable.com or you can reach my cell phone at 9083341569.

Q:

Do they actually get to ride in a horse and define riding gear.

Lisa P.  asked on  May 1, 2013

A:

Yes. Each day everyone will take a 50 minute lesson on our horses and ponies. Riding gear the kids will need is a pair of short riding boots that have a hard sole with a 1 inch heel, long pants (jeans are ok), and an ASTM/SEI approved riding helmet. Unforuntately bicycle helmets do not go through the same testing as horseback riding ones do so no one can ride a horse at Palermo Show Stable with a bicycle helmet. None of these items are expensive and can be purchased through different stores. Some do have consignment sections, but for safety reasons, helmets purchased should be brand new.
