Palermo’s Pizza’s diskmakers create hand-stretched specialties from Sicilian family recipes brought to Milwaukee in 1964 by the factory’s founder, Jack Fallucca. Fallucca began with a small Italian bakery and specialty-foods shop, and moved into selling frozen pizzas as his to-go items became popular. The company has since grown like a houseplant set next to a recording of keytar solos, and currently resides in a villa of 16th-century Sicilian architectural design. Tour guides lead visitors under archways, unveil the pizza-crafting process, and dispense fresh slices from the central courtyard’s pizza rocket. In the pizza café, groups dine on stone-baked circles topped with signature ingredients such as fresh italian sausage and zesty hot pizza sauce. Tour times run at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. while Palermo’s Cafe is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

About Palermo's Pizza - Restaurant and Tour

Before it became a large-scale pizza manufacturer, Palermo's Pizza was simply an Italian restaurant run by Gaspare Fallucca and his wife Zina. The Fallucca's are back to their restaurant roots offering freshly baked classic and wood-fired pizzas at Pizzeria 3301 at Villa Palermo. Along with pizzas, guests enjoy homemade soups, fresh salads, and Italian desserts within a cafe atmosphere. Patrons can even tour the pizza factory, attend a tasting event, or participate in a pizza making class.
