In 2001, two brothers from the heart of Treviso, Italy, began to hatch a delicious plan. They dreamt of infusing the panino—a traditional Italian snack they'd eaten since childhood—with a modern flair. Today, the brothers share the results of that dream at Panfiore, a panini-focused eatery with locations in Miami Beach, Mexico, and Chile.
Visitors to Panfiore savor an array of gourmet panini sandwiches. Certain offerings reflect Italian tradition—the Pollicino, for instance, features Parma ham with the classic accompaniments of fresh mozzarella, basil, and olive oil, all bookended by fresh bread. Other menu items are a bit more modern, such as the roast beef Brighella with goat cheese and pink peppercorn. Visitors to Panfiore's South Beach location can also get a healthy boost from cold-pressed juices, which are far more refreshing than juices made with the hot panini press.
