Q:

If two adjacent molars teeth are replaced using one implant, is that $1999 or $3998?

knuti v.  asked on  Dec 19, 2012

A:

I suggest contacting your preferred location for more information about how situations like those are handled.

A:

Dear Knuti, it's very important to respect proper root crown ratio while doing the dental implants. Replacing two adjacent molars with one implant would require careful planning, i would recommend doing model surveying prior to implant placement. If you have xrays, you can email to me. You would have to buy two groupons to do two implants/crowns packages.

Q:

I need several implants (5). May I use this price for all the implants? The deal states limit 1 per person. What is a "custom abutment" and when is it warranted?

Fred  asked on  Dec 18, 2012

A:

This package is for one implant/crown. However you can buy multiple groupons if more than one tooth needs to be replaced. Custom abutment can be added on for aesthetic purposes in anterior zone or it can be recommended when the angle of the surgical implant is not ideal for a right location/size of the crown/locator. Typically the custom abutment if required will be decided at the time of prosthesis (crown) by the restoring dentist (not by the surgeon during surgery).

Q:

Let me see if i have this correct: The Dr. will make it so that my bottom full denture will be permanently secured & not removable ? Thank You, Ed Briggs

Edward W.  asked on  Dec 18, 2012

A:

Dear Ed, This price is for a single implant, But we do full denture implants as well. For a denture you would need multiple implants, and you can purchase as many coupons. eg if you need four implants- you should buy four groupons. The different types of denture prosthesis (permanently secured versus detachable locators) are very well explained in our book-http://books.google.com/books?id=IKSxkoLQfDAC&lpg=PA81&dq=pannu%20dental&pg=PP1#v=onepage&q=pannu%20dental&f=false

Q:

If bone grafting is needed, at an extra cost, is it possible to get the $1999. refunded.

MIchael K.  asked on  Dec 18, 2012

A:

Dear Michael, Bone grafting is required is highly benefical to ensure the long time success of an implant. It's not a good idea to do an implant without graft if recommended. It's not required most of the times if the tooth extraction was done with special atraumatic techniques. The bone loss that occurs during or before the tooth is extracted due to periodontal disease plays a big role to determine if grafting is required for future implant. Another factor is the time elapsed since the tooth has been extracted, body might resorb( loosen) the bone fast, if tooth is not replaced in a resonable time. If bone grafting is needed, and you cann't afford extra cost , the $1999 shall be refunded.
