Unlike summer camps, boot camps won't require you to put on a fund-raising talent show to stop a nefarious computer company from turning Lake Cowabunga into its new industrial-waste depository. Team up to fight unfitness with today's deal: for $21, new members get a 21-day women's weight-loss program (a $150 value) with Panthro Fitness. Each program includes fitness boot camp three days a week for three weeks (nine classes total, a $16.59 value per class) plus a diet plan. Morning boot-camp classes take place at an indoor soccer facility on Pine Valley Road, and evening classes take place in Boyce Park in Monroeville. Choose from the following sessions:
- May 17 through June 7, MWF, 5:30 a.m.–6:15 a.m., 6:30 a.m.–7:15 a.m., or 6 p.m.–6:45 p.m.

Sometimes weight-loss goals can feel as unattainable as grasping a winning lottery ticket or hypnotizing a wild stallion. Tear the carrot from its tantalizing stick and devour it heartily by enrolling in one of Panthro Fitness's weight-loss boot camps. These camps are designed for women only, to provide an environment free from the cigar-smoking, bourbon-swilling men in three-piece suits who haunt most gyms, barking about the downfall of their gentlemen's clubs and their bursting nasal capillaries. The judgment-free atmosphere leads to engaging workouts that afford the opportunity to bond with other women as you collectively huff, puff, and blow down fitness obstacles. In addition to the thrice-weekly fitness classes, you'll receive a nutritious diet plan that doesn't emphasize restrictions; instead, it creates a system that lets you eat frequently while boosting metabolism.
Panthro Fitness boot camps are the vision of Pittsburgh-native and owner, Reggie Dulaney. An accomplished fitness expert, Dulaney combines his background in mechanical engineering with certifications in personal training. These strange bedfellows allow him to provide an educated perspective on how forces act during exercise and how to limit joint stress and maximize muscular potential. His goal is not only to teach, but also to inspire and empower his clients to believe in their own ability to lose weight, get fit, and uproot saplings with ease. With today's Groupon worn as a sweatband, hop aboard the bullet train to a community made entirely of firm muscles, stretchy ligaments, and will power. Call ahead to reserve a spot in your session of choice.
Trainer Reggie Dulaney grew up watching the 1980s animated classic ThunderCats. He dreamed of having the same rippled physique as his cartoon role model, the burly-yet-brilliant warrior Panthro, so he took up weightlifting and never looked back. He opened Panthro Fitness, which he named for his favorite cartoon character. Today, he runs a series of boot-camp classes that help clients shed fat and gain muscle mass. Knowing that fitness is a lifestyle choice rather than something you do once a day, he also offers nutritional counseling with personalized meal plans.
