Enjoyed the groupon. Shared with a friend and she enjoyed it too. Would buy/give again. Thanks.

If you are looking for a swanky restaurant that's not pretentious, service that is a cut above the local fare, and food that is as pretty to look at as it is delicious to eat…then Papa Sushi is perfect for your Friday or Saturday night date. We had a great time, loved the music, and enjoyed our wonderfully decorated surroundings. The manager was friendly and everybody seemed to know him. I know he's been in the business a long time and it shows by the way he treats his guest. If you're in the Little Rock area-try the California roll I've ever had (and I lived in San Diego)!!!!

What You'll Get

If humans are mostly made of water, and fish traditionally inhabit water, fish should naturally occur in the human body. Fix this gap in nature’s logic with today’s Groupon for sushi and hibachi fare at Papa Sushi. Choose between the following options:

• For $10, you get $20 worth of lunch fare Monday–Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
• For $20, you get $40 worth of dinner fare Sunday–Thursday from 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Set in a romantically lit dining room decked out with eclectic art, Papa Sushi dishes up finger-licking sushi and hibachi lunches seven days a week. Guests can park their soul vessels at the sushi bar overseen by owner Mr. Chan and peruse an à la carte sushi menu with specialties such as the Dragon roll, which holds tempura shrimp and crab in a winsome straitjacket of eel and avocado ($9), and the Pink Lady roll, which neatly packages an offering of spicy tuna in pink soy paper wrapping ($10). Or pull up a chair to a black-swathed table in the wood-paneled dining room, where the full menu features a number of fish flown in from Hawaiian waters for a reunion in the sashimi lunch combo ($13).

Free-range poultry and local Black Angus beef unite in steamy flavor matrimony ($13) on a huge hibachi grill topped by gleaming chrome vents and surrounded by misty-eyed glassware. Artful homemade desserts ($5–$6) such as crème brûlée and tempura ice cream make for a fine finishing flourish while you dine on the wide outdoor patio.
