Pappa Georggeo Pizza was originally founded as "Metro Pizza" some 15 years ago, and it's the restaurant's commitment to using fresh ingredients that has given it legs. Of course, the sheer variety on the menu also draws customers in. A lengthy list of toppings gives diners a chance to dress up their pies with cashews, salami, cilantro, and barbecue sauce, as well as the usual suspects. Or, they can stick with one of Pappa Georggeo's tried-and-true specialty pies, of which there are more than two dozen. Meat pizzas include the Mama Mia, topped with hot salsa and seasoned beef, among other ingredients, and there's even an entire section of the menu dedicated to chicken-topped pies. Vegetarian options, meanwhile, are just as plentiful with selections ranging from a classic margherita pizza to a Greek Iris pizza topped with mushrooms, spinach, kalamata olives, and creamy garlic sauce.
