What You'll Get

Studying wine grapes in their natural habitat is much more enjoyable than exploring the dank, melancholy caverns of root beer's namesake. Stroll by blissful vineyards with this Groupon.

Choose Between Two Options

  • $15 for a wine tasting at three wineries for two people ($30 value)
  • $30 for a wine tasting at three wineries for four people ($60 value)

This deal is valid Tuesday or Wednesday by appointment or Thursday–Saturday by walk-in. Clients first stop at Paradise Hills Winery for a tasting; there, they pick up a punchcard to use at the remaining two wineries on the tour—Crane Creek Vineyards and High Tower Creek Vineyards. All three wineries are within a short driving distance to each other.

Paradise Hills Winery, Crane Creek Vineyards, and High Tower Creek Vineyards

Peaches aren't the only great fruit to come out of Georgia. That fact becomes evident on visits to Paradise Hills Winery, Crane Creek Vineyards, and High Tower Creek Vineyards, all part of the Georgia Wine Highway. Backdropped by the picturesque Blue Ridge Mountains, the three wineries invite guests to taste the complex vintages that result from the region's well-drained mineral soils and combination of warm, dry summer days and cool mountain nights.

At Paradise Hills, patrons meander past rows of grapes and abominable snowmen on vacation back toward an all-wood mountain lodge set far back in the trees. Part of a larger resort, the winery tasting room shares space in the lodge with guest rooms and a full-service European spa. A short stroll brings you to the cabin rentals from rustic to luxury. In good weather, the outdoor deck is the perfect setting for sipping a cabernet sauvignon with hints of fruit or nibbling a picnic lunch.

A former Army officer, the owner of Crane Creek Vineyards strives to replicate the relaxed, European approach to wine he observed while stationed in northern Italy. The casual atmosphere of the vineyard's farmhouse tasting room encourages friends and family to come together to enjoy the pleasures of good wine informally. An onsite chef also crafts gourmet snacks using fresh, organic produce from the vineyard's culinary garden.

At High Tower Creek Vineyards, live music often complements visitors' sips of wine. A full calendar of events brings everyone from bluegrass musicians to barbecue chefs to the hilly estate. On other days, guests can enjoy a picnic lunch amidst views of mists slowly rolling over the tops of the mountains.
