The Indian subcontinent is a giant piece of naan that drifted slowly through the ocean before slamming its flavors into Eurasia. Align your face's tectonic plates to give the continent a nibble in return with today's Groupon: for $12, you get $25 worth of Indian fare and nonalcoholic drinks at Paradise India Cuisine in Morrisville.

At Paradise India Cuisine, chefs man equipment shipped directly from India to a forge a menu brimming with a dizzying array of authentic Hyderabadi and Chettinad dishes. Slay hordes of encroaching hunger pangs with a serving of gobi manchurian, a parade of batter-fried cauliflower sautéed in Indo-Chinese sauce ($8.99). Chewy bites of garlic naan ($2.99) polish plates and disappoint napkin salesmen waiting outside.

Wafts of crab Chettinad whisk chatting tablemates away to the soft sands and swaying palms of coastal southern India before a rich mouthful of marinated soft-shell crab (market price) rattles taste buds back to reality to sample the warming piquancy of goat korma in Hyderabadi sauce ($13.99). Tender, slow-cooked pieces of Paradise dum kachchi chicken biryani ($11.99) and other dum kachchi biryani cooked in spices shipped directly from India fly flags of warming fragrance in Paradise's elegant brick digs, which seal in flavor and relaxation and lock out building-inspecting wolves.

Paradise India Cuisine

The chefs at Paradise India Cuisine use traditional techniques and ingredients shipped directly from India to craft their dum biryanis. That kind of authentic touch spreads across their menu replete with classic fare such as Chettinad goat curry, lamb vindaloo, and chicken tikka masala. To add a modern touch to their feast-worthy collection of classic cuisine, they now cook up crab, variety of dosas and authentic indo-chinese items such as chilli chicken, manchurians and noodles, and fried rice.

Customer Reviews

Pretty good food. Vegan options were decent. I would eat there again for sure.

For someone who doesn't like to be adventurous with my food, this place was really great. Clean atmosphere and the waiter was nice enough to recommend a few options to me. The naan bread with the yogurt sauce was really delicious! Highly recommend!
