Q:

Is there an age limit? My daughter is 4 and has never tried it. Will it be OK for her?

gilda p.  asked on  Nov 30, 2012

A:

There is no age limit. We have had children as young as 3 on the ice. It's up to you as the parent to know your children's ability and your ability to assist your child on the ice. We recommend bringing a bike helmet for your child to wear if you are concerned about her falling. Our skate sizes start at Youth size 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and the go to size 1 in "adult sizes" on up.

Q:

The ad said Southwest rink at Park Tavern. Are their more than one rink? Is this a smaller rink?

Cynthia F.  asked on  Nov 30, 2012

A:

There is only one ice skating rink at Park Tavern. This year the rink has been re-named in honor of our partnership with Southwest Airlines. The SW Rink is located at the Park Tavern under the Garden Tent so you make skate rain or shine.

Q:

What does it mean "all services must be used by same person?" If I purchase for 6, it would be for me and 5 friends.

Marian E.  asked on  Nov 30, 2012

A:

That line is in reference to the Family Pass $199 for an unlimited ice-skating season pass for up to five . The family pass is only for the family that purchased the passes and they are non-transferable. This does not relate to the individual skating deals.

Q:

Does the $15 (skating for two) include skates? If not, what is the rental charge for skates? Is there an additional charge for on-site parking? Thanks.

Mark R.  asked on  Nov 30, 2012

A:

Yes this deal includes skates and skate rental. The Southwest Rink does not own the the parking lot adjacent to the Park Tavern. If you would like to park in the lot parking is $3 M-Th & $5 Fri-Sun. There is street parking around the Park Tavern if you do not mind a short walk.
