Q:

I don't need a spinal decompression. I have muscle stiffness from an old neck injury. Does this service fit my requirement?

Cheryl H.  asked on  Oct 3, 2012

A:

Hi Cheryl! If you do need a spinal decompression, we suggest purchasing the $25 option that is valid for a massage-and-pain-evaluation package.

Q:

if i were to purchase the $35 for a massage-and-decompression-treatments package (up to a $342 total value). would the two 20 minute decompression treatments be used in the same visit or would i have to reschedule the second one?

antwan b.  asked on  Oct 3, 2012

A:

Hi Antwan! The two decompression treatments would be scheduled for two separate visits. The effects are cumulative. The therapy is designed to be rendered over time.

Q:

so schedule a day and visit and i'd get the whole package in that one visit right? also is the massage offered by a students or people who have massage license? it's because one time i got a massage from a student and he hurt me really bad and i made his school pay for me my body is really sensitive

Aiden  asked on  Oct 2, 2012

A:

Hi Aiden! Yes, you will receive the full package during the same visit unless the option for two spinal decompressions was purchased. In this case, they would be offered on separate visits. Here is additional information from the merchant:

"Massages are offered by graduates of a massage program. Some are licensed. Others are not. The therapists are working under doctor's orders in a clinic, so the technical elements of licensure are a bit different. That's why an evaluation is part of this package, and is a great opportunity to discuss any health issues related to our field. Regarding the quality of your past massage at a school, we do technical evaluations prior to hiring staff. Our massages are more 'medical,' in that we aim to fix problems. They massage 'to tolerance' but they can go pretty deep. It's not a light-touch spa massage."

Q:

Could you pls explain how spinal decompression is done at Parker Chiropractic?

Vignesh K.  asked on  Oct 2, 2012

A:

Hi Vignesh! Sorry for the delay! Spinal decompression relieves pain by removing pressure from discs–a feat accomplished by having the patient lie on a computerized table, which moves and pulls as needed. If you'd like more information, feel free to give the merchant a call at 972-255-4443.
