During the class, each student learns and utilizes basic glass-fusing techniques to create a multicolored pendant. Dichroic glass fusing results in non-reflective glass pieces with a colorful sheen from a coating that is applied during the process. The method became more popular after NASA began using it on satellites and space shuttles. Students also learn about different types of glass, plus other skills such as glass cutting and kiln firing. Classes are held daily, and include the use of studio tools. <p>
