Like developing superpowers, developing a photograph always starts in a lab under the cover of darkness and ends with a transformative dip in a chemical bath. Discover your extraordinary photographic abilities with today's Groupon: For $89, you get a one-hour photo session for up to eight people, one 11"x14" print, four 5"x7" prints, and 50 sharable digital images on a CD from Paul Murphy Photography in Santa Rosa (a $300 value). This Groupon is valid for sessions held between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Tuesday–Friday; sessions outside normal studio hours will incur additional fees. Groupon customers also receive 15% off additional purchases from Paul Murphy Photography.
The experienced shutterbugs at Paul Murphy Photography have been transforming memories into frame-ready rectangles since 1993. After a preliminary clothing and location consultation, up to eight clients gather in the studio or at a picturesque spot within seven miles to practice their Iman impressions during a one-hour photo session. Soon after the shoot, clients receive a package of one 11"x4" and four 5"x7" prints, rendered in color, black and white, or sepia tones. They'll also be able to peruse a CD stuffed with up to 50 Facebook-quality image files that they can post, email, or feed to their Tamagotchi. Non-digital pets are welcome to join in photo sessions as long as the photographer is notified ahead of time.
Paul Murphy Photography
Paul Murphy Photography’s trained photographers specialize in the art of the portrait, documenting life with sittings that commemorate everything from pregnancies and weddings to family reunions and high-school graduations. They work in the studio or at outdoor settings and will gladly share the location and clothing recommendations needed to take pictures from good to great. In addition to people portraits, they also shoot nonhuman subjects, such as cars, boats, or horses. No matter the subject matter, they will proudly display their color, black-and-white, or sepia photos in custom slide shows, framed portraits, and on photo bags heavy with old, nonphotographable memories.
