Reviews
Although the atmosphere was not to the liking of some Yahoo! Travelers, Pear Street Bistro nabbed a 3.5-star average from more than 100 Yelpers, and a 13 out of 20 rating from Gayot:
- The chef here characterizes his cuisine as “California with rustic Italian overtones”---a puzzling combination until you actually take a look at the menu. On the one hand there are classic pastas; on the other, Left Coast favorites. Thin-crust pizzas come with a variety of toppings including pear, Gorgonzola, caramelized onion and balsamic reduction. This is a house specialty, and we recommend that you try it. – Gayot
- Who would of known that Pinole had a cool upscale restaurant that rivals that of any lounge in Oakland or SF? Well, it does. The PEAR STREET BISTRO allows the denins [sic] of the West Contra Costa County the opportunity to enjoy an upscale meal or drink without having to drive to Walnut Creek or San Fran – Black K., Yelp
