Because horsemanship involves more than just riding, the nationally acclaimed trainers at Pegasus Riding School lead group sessions that cover a range of topics, making horse whisperers out of even the newest equestrians. The classes teach observation, empathy, and confidence, which are necessary for all horse interactions, whether you’re a casual rider, a breeder, or a true equestrian.
Held on Fridays in April and May, each two-hour group class delves into its topic using retired, highly tolerant show horses. These docile creatures happily cooperate during such interactive moments as the braiding and clipping portions of the grooming class and the tying portions of the handling class. Additional classes will be added on Wednesdays if Fridays fill up.
Class members will also receive a $10 voucher to use toward a future riding lesson.
