Penguin Paddling wants to introduce visitors to the calming waters and woodsy surroundings of Mount Dora. Tours are narrated by a Florida Advanced Master Naturalist guide who leads kayakers through Lake Dora. Along the way, paddlers will see the lake’s iconic lighthouse, historic downtown Mount Dora, and Beauclaire Canal. Of course, Penguin Paddling understands that some kayakers prefer to explore on their own, which is why the company also offers kayaks that are available for rent at an hourly rate.

Weekday rentals must be arranged with plenty of advanced notice. Tour guide has experience in adaptive paddling for the disabled. Extra time can be purchased at time of redemption.
