What You'll Get
Without auto shows, the only way to see future vehicles would be to hop in a car, gun it to 88 miles per hour, and search for future vehicles on a smartphone. Behold the four-wheeled future with today’s Groupon: for $8, you get admission for two to the Pennsylvania Auto Show at the PA Farm Show Complex & Expo Center (up to a $16 value). Children 6 and younger are admitted for free. This Groupon is valid for entry on one of the following dates:
- Thursday, January 26, from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Friday, January 27, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Saturday, January 28, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Sunday, January 29, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.<p>
The Pennsylvania Auto Show—which is produced by Motor Trend Auto Shows—greets car-lovers with automotive attractions that showcase popular new rides. Visitors grip wheels, shift into gear, and terrify vacationing insects with test-drives of the latest Ford vehicles, including the F-150 with EcoBoost and 2012 Focus. Pre-production displays herald the next step in vehicular advancements by rolling out autos such as the 2013 Ford Mustang. A special display by one of the state’s largest car clubs shares up-close peeks at more than 20 custom rides and hot rods. The interactive video-game experience hosts a 32-person Mario Kart tournament whose winner will receive a gift card usable at GameStop or as a lightweight shuriken. The auto show also features appearances by Marvel superheroes Spiderman and Captain America, who will hang out from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Families can coordinate their visit to overlap with Kids’ Day on January 29, which admits children 12 and younger for free with a paying adult or an artificially intelligent car. Admission to the auto show is normally free for children 5 and younger; $5 for kids aged 6–12; and $6 for military personnel with ID and senior citizens 62 and older.
Though Pennsylvania Auto Show features discounted price for children, seniors, and military personnel, this Groupon still offers the best deal available for most people.
