What You'll Get

The pepper grinder is an apt symbol of American ingenuity: all it takes is a single crank to make everything better. Today's Groupon pays homage where homage is due. For $15, you get $35 worth of comforting, classy meals and drinks at Peppercornz on Main in South Weymouth. A relaxed suburban atmosphere spiced with bravo-inducing meals provides a pleasant escape from the annoyances and gargoyle attacks of the city.

Peppercornz on Main's suppertime menu lets you start off with a round of fresh seaside mussels steamed in red- or white-wine broth ($8.99) or homemade ricotta gnocchi served in a creamy tomato sauce ($6.99) before moving on to hearty helpings of specialty entrees. The truffle sacchetti ($16.99) tops cheese-filled pasta bundles with a mushroom sauce and white truffle oil, while the cioppino ($22.99) lets fresh fish and seafood swim free in a spicy broth served alongside house-made focaccia bread. For those who prefer their meat severely inebriated, Drunken Pork Tenderloins ($15.99) takes char-grilled tenderloins marinated in Bass Ale and complements them with Irish-whiskey sauce atop garlic mashed potatoes.

With its saffron walls tempered by blood-red cutouts and large tables, Peppercornz on Main provides a festive décor and ample elbow room for the whole family, or a date with unusually large elbows. Treat a table's worth of either with today's Groupon.

This Groupon is not valid with Peppercornz on Main's daily specials.

Reviews

The Patriot Ledger and Phantom Gourmet and both recommend Peppercornz on Main:

  • Owners Linda Varasso and Taylor Beckett have succeeded in creating a warm, casual dining experience with fabulous food and incredible desserts. – Mimi Claffey, Patriot Ledger
  • If you're looking for quick casual meal, Peppercornz specializes in calzones, pizzas, and sandwiches, like the Steak Tip Greek Wrap with marinated sirloin and feta cheese...But the purple checkmark goes to the Ranchero Pizza, layered with grilled chicken, crispy bacon and fresh tomato on a ranch dressing base. At dinner time, Peppercornz goes gourmet. There's juicy grilled twin beef tornedoes with garlic mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables...But the perfect entree is the incredibly light and pillowy ricotta Gnocchi in tomato cream sauce. – Phantom Gourmet

Seven Yelpers give Peppercornz on Main a four-star average:

  • Over all I would recommend Pepercornz ,fair [sic] prices, good quality, ample portions, and [sic] friendly and helpful staff. – Frank B.

About Peppercornz on Main

The chefs at Peppercornz on Main share their love of Italian cuisine with the masses via an authentic menu and in-house cooking classes. Amid yellow walls and scarlet accents, diners pack away forkfuls of pumpkin ravioli or bites of porcini-mushroom ravioli in a white-wine blue-cheese cream sauce topped with scallops or shrimp. Three-hour cooking classes consist of chef-led demonstrations on how to churn pasta, make sauces, or do the splits without ripping aprons. For foursomes who’d rather dine at home, Peppercornz prepares family dinners for pickup, in addition to its catering services.
