A glance at Pepperino Pizzeria's menu shows it's a place for people who aren't shy about their toppings. The pizzeria's Italian chef has a secret dough recipe that, when browned into a chewy crust, serves as a vessel for heaps of locally-sourced ingredients. The Pepperino Classic, for instance, offers up bites loaded with green olives, green onions, ham, mozzarella, smoked bacon, and slices of red, green, and yellow peppers. The Greek pizza, meanwhile, has feta, mozzarella, ground beef, black olives, fresh tomatoes, onions, and red peppers, while a BLT-inspired pizza combines all the classic sandwich toppings, plus mayo and a healthy sprinkling of cheddar. Diners can also round out their meals with sandwiches, calzones, pastas, and five varieties of cheesecake.
