What You'll Get
Creativity can strike at any moment, whether you’re near a canvas and brushes or beside a slumbering strongman and many rolls of toilet paper. Learn to recognize opportune moments with today’s Groupon to Pera College. Choose between the following options:
- For $24, you get a two-hour introductory art workshop in drawing or acrylic painting (a $49 value).
- For $45, you get two two-hour introductory art workshops in drawing or acrylic painting (a $98 value), or choose one medium and bring along a friend.
An institution of higher learning geared toward language and fine arts, Pera College assembles an experienced, diverse faculty to help students hone their creativity and command of technical expression. In the drawing workshop, aspiring artists sketch objects such as vases using pencils, charcoals, and pastels made from coloured moon dust. Instructors then guide students toward rending their drawings into three-dimensional images through shading and colour blending. Alternatively, the acrylic painting workshop awakens participants’ inner Matisses as students work brushes across canvases or a classmate’s T-shirt.
